Advanced Personnel Resources is recruiting logistics coordinators for our client located in Greensboro, NC. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of SAP software and be able to work the hours 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.

Job Duties: Logistics Coordinator

  • Coordinating Transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movements of shipments.
  • Manage finished goods and shipping supplies inventory stock levels.
  • Perform daily checks on accessories parts for finished goods.
  • Ensure DOT hazmat regulations are up to date.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy, including commercial invoices, IMO, and any other export requirements.
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary and communicating with brokers.
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more organized.
  • Preparing Bills of Lading and invoices for customers.
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.

Qualifications: Logistics Coordinator

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics
  • Familiar with using Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Able to work an 8-hour shift, 5 days a week; shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Available to work until the job is completed.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and fulfill responsibilities under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to function as an effective team member.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience with small tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment.
  • Familiar with SAP ERP Software (MM/WM Modules).
  • Previous experience with handling and shipment of Hazardous Materials.
  • Preferred degree in supply chain management or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with a TMS system and using 3PL brokerage.
