Job Summary:

• The Warehouse Logistics Specialist/Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all warehouse activities on a daily basis including shipping and receiving of customer products consistent with Company objectives under the direction of the Supervisor.
• Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday (some OT and weekends may be required)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

• Coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
• Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories
• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, by use of equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack, or by using forklift
• Checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing by lot numbers
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped
• Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to either refuse or accept with notation.
• Record documents to appropriate forms and/or logbooks. Verify that proper identification is attached.
• Sort cargo received by account or intended location, and store in proper location by part number
• Scan outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality control
• Communicate all problems and concerns regarding shipment scanning to Warehouse Supervisor
• Identify damaged items staged in outbound bays
• Inspect outbound products for quality assurance
• Accurately document results of outbound audits upon completion
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divided.
• Indentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations).
• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.

Education/Certifications/Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three months or more of related work experience are required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
