Job description
CTI is an IT federal contracting company that deploys and maintains office equipment fleets for the U.S. Government. Founded in 1990, CTI specializes in deploying and maintaining multi-function devices (MFDs) and print software via comprehensive, customizable Managed Print Services (MPS) programs.
Scope of Work:
CTI’s Logistics team is looking to hire a logistics specialist to manage and coordinate a variety of logistics administrative tasks such as device relocations, device repairs, supply escalations, and delivery documentation management.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, able to work independently, and excel at following up on tasks until completion. They will be able to multitask between various tasks and will possess a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. This position will report directly to CTI’s Logistics Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and manage our customers’ escalated device repair and supply requests.
- Input device escalation requests received by CTI’s Order Managers in our ERP and keep up to date with latest information.
- Serve as a liaison between our vendors, customers, and service and supplies teams to resolve repair and supply escalations.
- Contact our customers to provide updates on repair and supply request escalations.
- Process and manage equipment relocations during the life of each task order, ensuring they are being executed according to the contract statement of work (SOW).
- Input device relocation requests from CTI’s Order Managers and customers in our ERP and keep up to date with the latest information.
- Serve as a liaison between our customers and vendors’ relocations team to complete relocation requests.
- Add and change our customers’ device location information in our ERP as needed.
- Assist with management of our customers’ device delivery documentation, such as Bill of Ladings (BOLs); these includes BOLs for all of customers’ devices delivered, relocated, and removed.
- Assist with processing, updating and correcting BOLs in our BOL Repository database and BOL eMail folder.
- Follow up for escalated device’s missing BOLs with vendors, carriers, and customers.
- Collaborate with CTI’s Logistics teams on tasks related to BOL management.
- Effectively communicate service escalation problems and customer complaints and vendor relations problems with CTI’s Logistics Manager.
- Collaborate and provide customers’ device information to CTI’s Contracts Department when required.
- Effectively handle customer inquiries/requests and communicate with appropriate company personnel, when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Direct logistics experience providing solutions to federal government customers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, superior attention to detail, and ability to interface with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Strong organization and ability to continually follow up.
- Customer service mindset for both external and internal clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High level of enthusiasm and energy.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment often with short notice, to meet deadlines.
Requirement:
- Must be United States citizen or permanent resident with a valid work permit.
Salary and Company Benefits:
- Starting salary dependent on experience/fit.
