Job Summary: The Full-time Triage Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients and determining their level of need for medical treatment and initiate emergency treatment if necessary.
Hours: Weekdays 8AM – 5:30PM
Triage Nurse will need to be available to assist at these locations:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Experience:
- Communicates and acts as a liaison with patients, family, and health professionals in a manner that respects confidentiality and dignity.
- General patient care, patient education and patient communication, office procedures & review lab results and submit to provider.
- Clinical Process Oversight to include supplies/inventory/crash cart
- Coordinates the needs of the patient with supporting departments and assists in solving problems related to the welfare of patient and staff.
- Document accurately in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system, as well as the paper chart, in a clear, concise, factual manner.
- Demonstrates compliance with existing standards and policies.
- Follow all HIPAA regulation.
Education and Experience:
- Required: Medical Assistant: 2 years.
- Required: LVN: 2 years.
- Required: Prior Authorizations & Referrals.
- Preferred: Phlebotomy and/or IV Experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of EMR System.
