• Inspect all bulkers and railcars and make repairs if needed.
• Perform all pellets transfers.
• Operate pellet blend back system.
• Perform stokes operation including T10 operations.
• Perform screen changes: bucket the end of line and make chopper adjustments and insuring all strands are separated.
• Perform unload of monomer cars including the water test and sealing cars for shipment.
• Weighing and banding all scrap boxes at the end of the shift.
• Perform rail switching by having the tracks ready to switch and once done replacing all safety equipment and returning pellet flow to railcars.
• Cleaning the inside and outside of silos every shift.
• Perform silo blending procedures.
• Maintain loading hoses by keeping them clean with caps and plugs in place and put on the hose rack when not in use.
• Cleaning hopper cars to insure they are empty of residual pellets and fines.
• Reading the nightly instruction and log book.
• Plant clean up: Production floor, choppers, end of the line buckets, fines area and control room.
• Operate QC, Quality Control, bin transfers.
• Operate box bin boxing.
• Complete paperwork: All railcar information, all bulker information and pellet material log information.
• Complete weekend clean up, weekend inventory and month end inventory.
• Provide suggestions to Shift Supervisor for area operational improvement.
