Lonnon Express Inc. have been providing Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service since 2009. We are currently seeking mail carrier applicants for our route in the Spicewood, TX area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age able to lift 70 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
• Driver's License (Required) Must have two full years of driving history, with a good driving record.
• Reliable SUV or lager vehicle (see minimum vehicle requirements below)
• Experience is a plus but is not required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

USPS contract mail carriers deliver mail to homes and businesses in rural areas across the nation. Traveling on planned routes, delivering mail, parcels, obtaining signatures, and collecting outgoing mail along the way. Delivery occurs regardless of the weather, although schedules may be delayed

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Schedule:

Work Schedule: Mon-Sat 6 days a week with Sundays and Holidays off
Hours: 7 AM until route is finished (7hours 30 min /day depending on mail volume and carrier efficiency)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to 56,000.00 annually

MINIMUM VEHICLE AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a qualifying vehicle that meets the criteria below which meets postal regulations and meets postal driving requirements.
One (1) Dependable vehicle providing 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels, can be of any age so long as it is in good physical and mechanical condition. The vehicle required is equivalent to a Large SUV/Minivan. An all-wheel-drive or 4-wheel-drive is a plus but required.
$100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle.
We provide a fixed vehicle reimbursement rate to accommodate for personal vehicle use for mail delivery. The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs for their vehicle.
