Job Title: Maintenance B

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repairs and maintains machinery, plumbing, physical structure with blueprints, manuals, and building codes.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and orderly work area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Installation of machinery, water lines and low-pressure lines.
• Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects.
• Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them.
• Measures, cuts, and installs pipe and tubing for gas, water, and hydraulic lines.
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment.
• Inspects, documents, and maintains integrity of hazardous waste storage area, and all designated emergency response equipment.

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Regular Attendance.
• Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Electrician’s license preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Management training required initially and annually.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.
• Ability to safely lift 25lbs. unassisted.
• Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing.
• Duties include care and maintenance of equipment, tooling, materials, and work area.
• Ability to operate a tow motor.
• Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.
