SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and/or processing machines to ensure high quality parts are produced. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintains safety. An incumbent may or may not perform all of the duties listed below, dependent on the specific plant for which support is provided.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions:

Troubleshoot machines to identify electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems and correct them or issue work orders to maintenance for repair

Inspect parts from assigned machines periodically to ensure high quality

Responsible for ensuring safe work practices and good housekeeping in assigned areas on assigned shift

Record production and quality information in writing and/or via data entry

Maintain machines to ensure quality product

Perform set-ups when assigned

Assure sufficient material is kept in assigned machines at all times

Responsible for monitoring while purging

Assist with training Operators on various aspects of the job

Operate machines, relieve Operators, make boxes, and other duties when necessary

Perform other related duties and special projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
