Job Summary and Qualifications

• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Plant Ops Department
• Constantly monitors gauges and listens for malfunctioning of boiler room equipment to keep it safe and workable.
• Performs urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required
• Performs maintenance on equipment and system as required
• Performs preventative maintenance duties to all physical structures of hospital and complies with all building safety codes. This is to include facility equipment and controls.
• Performs manual duties as requested (moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash or scrap material)
• Recommends the replacement of equipment structure as needed
• Ability to work on his/her own with normal supervision
• A thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment
• Knowledge and observance of safety precautions

• Participates in performance improvement and information management activities Demonstrates knowledge and is able to identify each patient’s age-specific needs to promote a safe environment

What qualifications you will need:

High School Diploma or GED Coursework at Technical School/College

1+ years of experience in maintenance and repairs

Vocational certificate of diploma in industrial electricity, HVAC, or industrial plant maintenance
