Position Description:
Maintenance Specialist II - Meter & Regulator Repair.
In this role we are looking for a driver must have a clean driving record. You will be transporting meters to several locations. This will require a Class A CDL. In this position you will be loading and unloading meters and working on the production line. On the production line you will be Testing/Junking commercial and residential diaphragm meters 400-450 a day.
What You Will Do
Perform assessments, tests, repairs, and adjustments for performance compliance accuracy on all types of positive displacement and turbine meters.
Analyze, evaluate, repair, and test positive displacement and orifice meters.
Operate and maintain proper equipment including:
– Preliminary and final meter tests
– Proper adjustment and operation of prover (as specified by position)
– Maintain prover calibration adjustments
Operate tools and equipment including:
– Forklifts (as specified by position)
– Screwdrivers/wrenches (manual and pneumatic)
– Provers
– High-pressure air guns
– Paint booth (as specified by position)
– Hoists (as specified by position)
Train Maintenance Specialist I; monitor adequacy of meter repairs to ensure quality.
Post information to multiple records including:
– Meter record cards
– Repair logs
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be asked to perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Experience in use and function of manual/power tools and equipment applicable to position.
Experience with application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. (Tested)
Experience in meter testing and repair.
Experience with:
– International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement
– Company/governmental safety procedures
– Meter codes and record-keeping procedures
– Repair processes for large and small meters
– Evaluate meter condition and adequacy of repairs
Company/governmental safety procedures
Experience posting and recording information on meter record cards.
Train and direct less-experienced meter repair employees.
Read and write fluently in English.
Ability to lift and move meters and objects with appropriate equipment and physical operations consistent with the position. Meters weigh from 5 lbs. to over 100 lbs.
Fine motor skills to make minute adjustments.
Operate tools and equipment.
Communicate and exchange information and instructions.
Peripheral vision and accurate depth perception.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
