Job description

Function: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of building maintenance for the center and stores.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all personnel assigned to maintenance department.

2. Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for equipment and services.

3. Estimate cost of material and labor for all work repair orders. Schedule, prioritize and complete work as instructed by administrator or designate.

4. Keep administrator informed of status and completion of work orders.

5. Keep necessary records (i.e. mileage, work performed, etc.).

6. Provide oversight and guidance to beneficiaries assigned to work therapy in the maintenance department.

7. This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).

8. Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.

3. Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment in industrial setting.

4. General knowledge of building codes required in maintenance and repair of industrial facilities.

5. Practical and varied experience in improvising repair and/or troubleshooting.

6. Excellent communication skills.

7. Must be prepared to work flexible hours in case of emergency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
