Maintenance Technician

Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, a retail location in Kalkaska, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.

The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in equipment reliability and process improvements across the plant. Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, surveys, and testing, gathers, and documents all necessary data to meet maintenance schedule and needs as required.

• Troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision and communicate the status of the equipment to maintenance management and other departments.
• Apply knowledge of hydraulics, welding, plumbing, and other industrial fields to install and maintain equipment.
• Using hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery and other equipment.
• Responding to radio calls from other departments for maintenance related actions.
• General Facility Work – Performing any other facility related tasks as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Manager.
• Placement in rotational 24 hour on call schedule.
• Responsible to maintain a safe jobsite, following all Safety Procedures established by the company.
• Automation and controls troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical, & electrical aptitude.
• Work from prints, diagrams, schematics, specifications, instructions, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s manuals and specifications, to perform scheduled and emergency repairs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5+ years maintenance experience.
• Ability to read & interpret detail blueprints and other technical documents.
• Basic understanding of electrical Fundamentals.
• Able to lift 50 lbs at a time.
• Ability to operate and set up machines using manuals.
• Experience in fast paced environment; reactive and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions on production equipment and show mechanical aptitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
