This position is responsible for ensuring that the Company's domestic benefit programs are aligned with business objectives, meet legal requirements and achieve a balance between being externally competitive, meeting employee needs and managing internal cost constraints.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the administration of the Company's various employee benefits programs
- Contributes to the overall benefits strategy, evaluation and planning activities
- The evaluation process will include assessing the effectiveness of benefits programs in meeting overall strategic objectives and the ability to implement changes to such programs as business conditions and legal requirements dictate.
- Partners with broker to oversee and help manage the development of all benefits proposals
- Ensures that the development and execution of all benefits programs are in compliance with Federal and State regulations and legislation.
- Stays abreast on trends and current developments in the field of employee benefits
- Effectively interacts with external benefits vendors, consultants and legal counsel.
- Responds to and resolves employee concerns on benefits programs; advises, approves or denies exception requests as appropriate.
- Manages leave administrators requiring a strong understanding of FMLA and all leave types
- Manages and develops benefits team members.
- Provides assistance in organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
- Maintains the cost and benefit balance in all benefits programs
- Identifies opportunities and improves benefits process and procedures.
- Ensures data integrity, accurate configuration and efficient processes in systems of record.
- Manages integration activities in the event of acquisitions and divestitures
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Meets attendance and punctuality standards
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience
- 1 to 3 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and related IRS and DOL regulations
- Workday experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities
- Proven ability to take charge and get results
- Proven ability to develop productive working relationships.
- CEBS certification a plus
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong knowledge of all types of benefits programs, benefits laws and regulation
- Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
- Able to analyze and resolve issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
- Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.
- Able to coach others in the development of their skills.
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to set goals and standards of performance for self and subordinates.
- Able to sort through numerical information and recognize trends and details.
- Able to stay with a position or plan of action until the desired objective is achieved.
- Able to supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of subordinates.

- Able to facilitate group interactions.
- Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations to large audiences, both in-person and virtually.
