Position Summary:

The Flow Control Manager will lead a group to align forecasting and replenishment, ad and seasonal planning, Product Integrity, as well as Governance and processes with the third-party frozen provider to drive Brand and Company strategy consistency across the organization, maximize performance, and optimize efficiency. This role will have direct ownership in managing the relationship with the flow of product into and out of our third-party frozen provider, managing product and workflows to continually improve user experience and partner to improve automation rates across the network. The Flow Control Manager will spend a significant amount of time interfacing with, and making recommendations to the third-party provider, senior brand leaders and supply chain leaders to continually improve our desired business outcomes through data driven insights from the system.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experts, and resources for managing and leveraging the demand planning capabilities within the automated frozen facilities for all frozen ADUSA entities.
  • Lead the team to drive system testing, maintenance, workflows, enhancements, and developments for all users to ensure system functionality aligns with inventory strategy across Supply Chain and Brands.
  • Monitor Inbound Compliance, Consumable Purchases, Pallet Flow and Yard Security
  • Serve as primary consultant to In-Stock leads, Control Tower leadership, Senior Retail Operations leaders, Senior Category leaders on system performance, user experience, complex problem resolution, DC workflows/operational excellence, store inventory and resourcing conditions.
  • Drive the product development roadmap with the third-party provider and influence their automation operational roadmap to align with business needs.
  • Drive scaling and strategy development of effective exception-based management and system automations by translating user performance data to senior leaders and making recommendations based on system insights.
  • Develop presentations utilized to communicate meaningful results, trends, and insights regarding the performance of the third-party provider and utilized automation.
  • Drive a culture and process of continuous improvement and communicate the team’s effectiveness in achieving key performance indicators to various levels of leadership.
  • Coach and develop team on how to establish connections and effectively collaborate with third-party provider on complex needs and shifting demands.
  • Recruit, mentor, direct, motivate and develop staff while maximizing individual contribution, professional growth, and their ability to function effectively and achieve business goals.

Knowledge:

  • Seasoned level of knowledge for company, business, and industry practices

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering, math, statistics, or similar field required; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • 7 – 10 years relevant experience
  • Strong retail operations background preferred
  • Previous team and project leadership experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $101,200.00 - $151,800.00 per year
