Summary
Interface with the factory technical staff to define opportunities for standards development and cost savings. This role is typically focused on high complexity manufacturing processes. This role is also responsible for solving high level customer / assembly specific problems in the manufacturing process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Lead monitoring, auditing and reporting of site process through use of metrics
- Lead new and existing product specific process implementation, and controls in support of Delta Group
Electronics and customer specific needs at the site
- Mentor and train individuals in various product specific production processes, required tools, and philosophies
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) development on new and existing customer projects and RFQ's
- Lead assessments of new components for implementation into the manufacturing process
- Support manufacturing tool design and implementation
- Support failure analysis
- Support new customer product introductions
- Lead cost reduction projects on specific processes
- Support quote activities by reviewing and ensuring all customer technology requirements are met
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May manage 1-5 subordinate employees in the production department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education are required for this position; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Industry experience of 3- 5 or more years is highly desirable.
- Experience with electronic manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Intermediate Electronic Assembly skills required.
- Thermal, Mechanical, and Materials Knowledge preferred. Intermediate Operational Knowledge preferred.
Language Skills
- Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Intermediate Decision Making and Problem Solving
Computer Skills
- Perform moderately complex computer tasks as assigned. Intermediate skills required.

Pay: $71,950.34 - $100,026.02 per year
