The Market DataAnalyst for Brightview Senior Living is a unique opportunity to join our Development Team, providing advanced market intelligence and analysis to support the development and marketing of Brightview Communities. In addition, you will play a key role in understanding the underlying drivers of our business success and the residents we serve. We opened our first community in 1999, and today, Brightview operates over 46 communities in eight states, taking immense pride in our deliberate growth strategy of opening 2-5 new communities every year.

We are looking for an individual with strong competitive market intelligence skills who thinks broadly, enjoys researching and compiling industry trends, loves data analysis, and then puts the pieces together that enable Brightview to continue to build beautiful communities where our residents can live vibrant lives.

What will you be doing:

• Research and study demographics, psycho demographics and trends to identify potential new Brightview markets and submarkets for consideration.
• Perform market analysis for specific new development opportunities and acquisition projects
• Identify primary market areas and assess macro market conditions and competitive products in the market. Prepare and present recommendations accordingly.
• Develop and run sophisticated predictive models to support analysis, underwriting, and related projects.
• Work with the development team in underwriting new projects and analyzing financial data regarding developing, financing, acquisitions, and/or disposition of investments.
• Provide expert advice and insights based on data analysis, market research, industry trends, and economic conditions
• Maintain complete and accurate market and competitive intelligence
• Present conclusions and recommendations in a compelling format
• Compile, interpret, analyze, and present complex data to management and other stakeholders.

You may be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of four (4) years' experience in market or competitive intelligence, financial analysis or strategy consulting
• Exceptional proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel applications; working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using ArcGIS software (example ESRI) preferred.
• Ability to collect, analyze, synthesize, and explain data from a variety of sources and to apply reason, logic, and advanced analytical skills to provide predictive modelling.
• Ability to independently interpret data, formulate models, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on those conclusions.
• Self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team with an ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects and teams
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with and present information to a wide range of internal and external business partners and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with competing priorities.
