Christ Church, a growing and dynamic congregation in College Station, TX is seeking a fulltime Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing is a member of a Communication, Marketing and Media Team which functions to ensure the ministries and events are creatively marketed within the Christ Church membership and to the BCS community. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of marketing experience, with specific experience in a church or non-profit. Experience in graphic design and a strong background in writing, editing and design is also required. Purpose: To serve as a member of the communication/marketing team and insure all ministry and events are completely and creatively marketed within the Christ Church membership and to the community when appropriate.
Marketing Responsibilities:
· Work closely with Communications Director to receive and prioritize communication requests to ensure all events and ministries are completely and thoroughly marketed and communicated internally and externally when appropriate.
· Promote and enhance the public image of Christ Church.
· Create and establish a marketing plan that reaches the target demographic for all ministries as well as the entire church.
· Collaborate with ministry leaders to determine marketing needs
· Develop creative approaches and efficient workflow to produce multimedia assets that support online & in-person worship
· Serve as a key member of all ministry leaders team providing strategic direction and developing a strategic plan for event marketing
· Provide leadership for graphic design creation, as needed
· Directs the planning, writing, editing and designing of printed and digital materials
· Ensure marketing aligns with the mission and vision of Christ Church
· Develops and schedules social media campaigns and ads
· Writes scripts for and coordinates live and video announcements
· Concisely and strongly communicate strategy, design concepts & creative ideas to internal and external partners
· Contribute to the evolution of current brand portfolio while assisting in concepts for future brand development
· Manage multiple projects at once and meet all deadlines
· Contribute independently and collaboratively with cross-marketing through ministries
· Ensure brand consistency and offer fresh approach to design, artwork, digital and print output
· Work with Media Director to ensure photo or video is captured for all events and ministries
· Collaborate with Communication Director to ensure website and social media is relevant and always current
· Identify & explore new innovative content delivery trends and assess products relevant to target demographic
· Stay current with marketing trends, technologies and advances
· When appropriate, identify new partnership opportunities within the community
· All other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director of Congregational Life.
Qualifications:
· College Degree – Marketing background preferred
· Ability to multi task and show forethought
· Experience in or ability to learn Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Docs
· Creative Thinker and Writer
· Team player

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
