Job Overview

The Material Coordinator supports the assigned manufacturing department with materials. Verify inventory, cycle counting, reordering, inputting of data, kit pulling and carrying out safety checks.


1st Shift: Monday thru Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Overtime: Ability to work overtime Monday thru Friday and on weekends occasionally.


Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Maintain work cell stock locations.
  • Trigger order signal for components on electronic replenishment.
  • Conducts cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reports discrepancies.
  • Process backorder items and expedites materials.
  • Loads, moves and unloads material to various inventory locations.
  • Completes and processes all associated documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production department.
  • Coordinate with production lead and department managers to ensure accountability for all materials.
  • Checking incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing.
  • Inform production lead and manager when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage.
  • Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are on hand at all times

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Related work experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive for results.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to interact well with direct and cross-functional team members.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very detail oriented with strong math and organizational skills.
  • Experience using an ERP system (Oracle a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.

Work Environment

  • Production environment

Minimum salary: $41,600

Maximum salary: $58,240
