Mechanic Helper

· The pay rate is 18.00 to 21.00 an hour

· The job location is in N. Little Rock, AK. 721117

· Monday thru Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

· Mus be available for OT

· 2 weeks Assignment but extend to a full time hire position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform basic repairs and assist Service Technicians and Installers with more complex repairs and installation of equipment.

· Accurately complete all necessary paperwork associated with the field service, repair and installation of equipment including service tickets, time sheets, open job tracking form and safety analysis sheets.

· Maintain complete and accurate truck inventory according to district guidelines and timely compliance with service truck, warehouse, tool and equipment maintenance requirements.

· Pursue and complete service training required to effectively improve skills.

Skills/Experience

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings a plus.

· Ability to work independently in a field environment.

· Ability to work outdoors, at heights and be able lift up to 100 lbs.

· Strong mechanical aptitude a must.

· Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred.

· Experience repairing and installing industrial equipment and overhead doors preferred.

Education

· High School Diploma or GED required.
