Title: Medical Technician or MedTech
Location: Smithtown, NY

Position Summary:
Nex Medical Solutions (NMS) is looking for a focused and organized individual to work primarily within the medical practice setting, focused directly on their patient base. This team member will manage the identification, testing, and documentation associated with the efficient implementation of the NMS-100 medical device platform. As the frontline, representing the NMS organization to both the patient and physicians, this individual plays a critical role in delivering the clinical and financial benefits associated with NMS-100 to our client.

Responsibilities:

- Work directly with and foster quality working relationships with Nex Medical Solutions clients, their clinical staff, and all associated with the day-to-day activities of their patient facing organization

- Assist in the identification and testing of the defined patient population eligible for testing with the device

- Master the efficient performance of this easy to use, non-invasive assessment of the vascular system, nervous system, and overall fitness of the individual in a 10-minute test. The device is a cart based, software driven platform which requires placement of sensors on the arms and lower legs of the patient.

- Professionally engage and communicate with each patient through each phase of the test.
- Maintain clear communication with NMS management, supporting the collection of all key performance indicators in an efficient and timely manner.
- Adhere to all NMS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working within the physician practice setting and interacting directly with clinicians, staff, and patients. Preferably with licensing as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), Administrative Medical Assistant, Medical Lab
Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

- Availability of 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- The ability to deal in a professional manner with clinicians, clinical support staff, and patients
- Basic command of clinical terminology
- Basic understanding of the human anatomy
- Basic understanding of EMR systems
- Understanding of HIPPA compliance requirements
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office / Email)
- Current Driver’s License
- Background Check / Drug Test

Compensation:

- Hourly rate to be determined based upon qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
