The Medical Director for Quality and Clinical Performance works closely under the Chief Medical Officer and the Associate Chief Medical Officer, along with the Director of Quality and Accreditation to promote the highest quality of care and to enhance the culture of safety at ICHS. This position is a key member of the Medical Services team and will serve as the representative for all quality initiatives that relate to working in an ambulatory environment. The Medical Director will be a quality thought leader and influencer of physicians and other Medical Network staff. The Medical Director provides direct care in the outpatient primary care setting.

Education - Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school Board Certified/Trained in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics.
Experience - Five years of clinical experience with at least two years in a leadership role. 2 or more years HMO/Managed Care experience is preferred. 2 or more years’ experience in NCQA/HEDIS, Value-based contracting, Quality Improvement required.
Other Requirement(s) - Licensed to practice medicine in Washington State including full prescriptive authority. Professional experience in a role requiring skills related to balancing clinical, regulatory and financial goals and outcomes in collaboration with all levels within an organization.
