Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with strong clinical skills and supervisory experience looking to join a friendly, professional, & supportive medical practice? Calvert Internal Medicine Group, an extensive multi-specialty practice is looking for two full-time Clinical Supervisors to join our team. One position will be based in our Prince Frederick headquarters and another in our Dunkirk satellite office.

Our clinical supervisors are directly responsible for the daily clinical operations and oversight of assigned personnel.

Accountablilities

  • Provides oversight, supervision, support, and quality assurance to assigned site/work area to ensure CIMG patient care standards are achieved.
  • Ensures policies and procedures comply with federal, state, county, payer, and company guidelines.
  • Collaborates with other Clinical Supervisors to set, monitor, and maintain CIMG standards of care. To include but not limited to appropriate onboarding and annual competencies.
  • Provides supply leadership and management to the medical assistant team and/or site.
  • Conducts audits of work to ensure staff are in compliance with standards to include but not limited to quality assurance; accuracy of work.
  • Collaborates and communicates with providers, management, and staff assessing the needs of assigned area to ensure efficient workflow and consistency with other sites.
  • Conducts inquiries to determine the root cause of clinical incidents and collaborates with leadership to adjust policies and procedures as needed.
  • Serves as back-up Medical Assistant and/or front desk coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • HS degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • Must hold active CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, certification or LPN license with MD Board of Nursing required. (At least 3 years previous direct medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting may be accepted in lieu of certification/licensure.)
  • At least 1-year previous experience in a medical office required.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
