In our LABORATORY department, as the MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN or MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST you perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological, and microscopic procedures in the Central Clinical Laboratory. You demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment and records, and to perform quality assurance activities related to test performance. You also function as an educator, shift leader or researcher within the clinical laboratory as needed.

• MT, MLT or MLS will be considered for this role.

Experience/Qualifications

• Board of Registry Certification as MT or MLT (ASCP, AMT, AD) or CS (NCA) eligible; must receive certification within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Associate degree, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail with elevated critical thinking skills
• Understanding and tactful with patients, visitors, and co-workers, even under stress.
