Royale Mission Viejo located in Mission Viejo, and RTRC located in Santa Ana,CA are inpatient treatment centers serving individuals struggling with severe mental illness. We are professional, agile and we are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled mental health worker to join our team. As a mental health worker, you will provide counseling, support, and treatment to individuals struggling with mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients and their families..

We're looking for Mental Health Technicians to work as part of a team of mental health professionals in an outpatient context in an effort to provide accessible, compassionate and effective care. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing individual and group therapy, as well as administrative tasks, such as recordkeeping and paperwork. The ideal candidates will possess a strong interest in psychiatry and enjoy working in a mental health capacity, with some exposure to psychiatric issues.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with patients and families to facilitate their treatment.
• Provide emotional support and promote social interaction among patients to help patients adjust to illness, hospitalization, and medical procedures.
• Prepare equipment for patient examinations and treatments.
• Document activities of daily living.
• Assist in teaching patients how to manage illnesses and live independently.
• Return patients' calls in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
