This position develops, implements and assesses the vision for Early College for Commonwealth University, which combines three previously separate programs at Bloomsburg, Lock Haven and Mansfield into a unified, new strategy. The position directs the strategic enrollment planning efforts for Summer and Winter College, Off Campus programs and all dual/concurrent enrollment programs serving Commonwealth University. The Executive Director leads the planning for program expansion as an opportunity to introduce high school students to our campuses, with an ultimate goal to increase the matriculation of participating students to our campuses following high school graduation. This will include partnering with academic affairs and other areas of the university that support the programs included in the position scope.
Active member on the Enrollment Management Leadership Team.
Manages Summer/Winter College
Plans, directs and assesses Summer and Winter College, including course identification, scheduling, advertising, monitoring of enrollment, requesting additional course sections to meet and surpass enrollment goals, compensation, compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and overall profitability.
- Manages the Experiential Learning Assessment Program for Commonwealth University including departmental and business office functions; maintains all records associated with the program; reviews for the deans and preparing for their signatures all assessment and pay forms related to the program.
- Coordinates senior citizen tuition waivers with other staff, then processes, verifies, and maintains records. Signs recommendations to the vice president for waivers on behalf of the university.
- Develops, manages, administers and monitors budgets for off campus, summer college, winter college, and incentive accounts
- Supervises a half-time clerical position, a Coordinator of Early College (SUA III) position, and a part-time position coordinating the Anchor Program.
- Investigates and analyzes problems or complaints from students, faculty, staff and the general public; resolves problems by taking corrective action verbally or by letter as appropriate.
- Reviews and replies to routine correspondence on behalf of the university by researching answers to inquiries and interpreting office policies and procedures.

Informs Early College students of courses available for scheduling, decides appropriate courses for students based on high school graduation requirements, intended college major and interest.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY :
Manages the division’s budgets.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :
Supervises a half-time clerical position, a Coordinator of Early College (SUA III) position, and a part-time position coordinating the Anchor Program.
- Master’s Degree required in related field to the position.
- 5 years employment in higher education or other educational setting.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of professionals in program delivery and student success.

Appointment is provisional provided the “Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form” and verification of your three background checks are returned to the Human Resource office prior to your hire date.
