Description of Duties:

The Mid-Level Cross Domain (CDS) Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:


  • Manage the continuous validation and authorization of Cross Domain Solution tickets
  • Review Project proposals and address any Cross Domain Solution (CDS) approval requirements from DoD entities.
  • Maintain artifacts related to, and required for, continuous CDS operation.
  • Project timeline requirements that allow CDSE office to keep CDS authorizations current by adhering to DISA deadlines set per project.
  • Generate Cross Domain Appendix (CDA) authorizations for customers and submit to MDA AO and corresponding 2-letter ISSOs for approvals.
  • Assist in organizing and reviewing Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSA) and Joint Vulnerability Assessment Processes (JVAPS) for annual revalidations.
  • Work with Cross Domain Technical Advisory Board (CDTAB) and Defense Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) to submit requests and artifacts required for new CDS authorizations.
  • Assist in the installation of CDS software
  • Conduct security assessments on CDS and Controlled Interfaces per DoD requirements for the purpose of obtaining approval to operate
  • Work with customers to determine operational needs

This position will be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO


This position is expected to pay $107,300 - $117,300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:


Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of general experience


  • Must have 2 years of directly related experience
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:


  • Have experience developing, administering, and maintaining Cross Domain Solution artifacts
  • Have experience with the National Cross Domain Strategy & Management Office (NCDSMO) and its operational requirements for CDSs.
  • Have experience in secure configuration management techniques. (e.g., Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Have the ability to produce Cross Domain documentation throughout life of the CDS
