Lightweight Manufacturing Inc. is a small manufacturing company in Whitehall Township, PA 18052. We are a job shop that makes industrial and architectural large fabric panels

At Lightweight Manufacturing we specialize in heat-sealing plastic-coated industrial fabric panels. We are adding members to our production division responsible for making soundproofing curtains. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week with regular opportunity for overtime, Monday-Friday. Shift times are subject to change but it will be one shift from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm to start.

Description: First, employees will assist machine operators in all aspects of production including welding, sewing, packing, and more. After training, employees will begin to independently operate machines for each aspect of production while still working in a team environment.

**This job involves physical activity. Employees will need to handle large or heavy fabric panels with a team of coworkers. Applicants must be prepared for regular bending, standing, working on the floor, etc.**

Requirements:

• The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic knowledge of measurements.
• Must have strong attendance and reliability.
• Able to perform physical aspects of the job for extended periods, such as working on your feet, bending, working on the floor, and moving materials.
• Applicants must work well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.

All training in this specialized field is provided internally.

Pay rate: Negotiable, minimum $ 16/hr
