Allstate Medical Transportation is a small company we provide safe transportation to and from appointments.

• This position is responsible for operating an assigned vehicle to transport ambulatory, wheelchair, patient we provide a door-to-door service for people that have disabilities we transport people to hospitals, healthcare, adult family homes and other medical facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safety and well-being of his or her passenger for the duration of the transport and provide excellent customer service. Maintain communication with the dispatcher or manager.
• Our operating days Are Monday to Friday. We need drivers that are flexible and reliable. And willing to work flexible shifts including some Saturdays.
• Candidate must successfully pass a criminal background check
• All candidates MUST be able to pass a drug test and you will be on randoms the rest of the time employed at Allstate Medical Transportation.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license At least 23 years old
• Allstate Medical Transportation will provide training such as first Aid & CPR
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Operate Company vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations on time.
• Operate wheelchair lifts as needed.
• Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking vehicles and to and from the vehicles including the ability to maneuver passenger and wheelchair over a 6” curb and up typical wheelchair ramps.
• Relate to and handle various passenger personalities and recognize passenger needs.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Effectively communicate with the dispatch center staff.
• Able to read and use GPS & other apps
• Reports accidents/incidents immediately to dispatcher, requesting police or ambulance service as needed. Assists injured persons from first-aid kit until these services arrive. Completes company accident/incident report.
• Keep vehicle’s interior and exterior clean.
• Responsible for following all company policies and procedures.
