Network and Low Voltage Cable Tech (will train right person)
Job description
Communication Planning Corporation is now looking for a cable installation technician for category 6 network cable for business environments. CCTV, Alarm, A/V, or Fiber Optic Experience is a plus but we will train the right applicant.
We are a well-established and respected cabling company that has been in business for 40+ years serving the Jacksonville area for cabling and phones. We are proficient in Low voltage infrastructures such as copper, Data and voice, fiber, and coax cabling. Knowledge is a plus. We also provide other Low voltage services such as telephony, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and Paging.
Minimum requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to grow.
Job responsibilities will entail knowledge of:
- Data and Voice Cabling system
- Terminating and Testing cable.
- Reading and understanding prints.
- Installation of other low voltage technologies.
Benefits include health and PTO after 1-year, paid holidays.
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30.
Company vehicle may be provided.
Salary based on experience.
