Job Title: Network Security Administrator

Location: St. Joseph, MI

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities for this position include developing and implementing security measures and protocols, establishing security guidelines, monitoring the networks, keeping an eye for any suspicious activities, and performing interventions to protect networks and data. The position will also be expected to perform routine updates and maintenance tasks on networking equipment, servers, and services. Quickly diagnose and offer solutions as required.

Position Responsibilities:

· Manages the daily administration of a network security environment

· Monitors Crowdstrike antivirus systems and BitSight security rating system

· Monitors and remediates incidents and alerts on M365/Azure environments

· Assists with the daily administration of a network/server environment

· Monitors network performance and perform testing to provide a diagnosis of issues and to assist with the deployment of a solution

· Performs routine updates and maintenance tasks to eliminate security threats

· Responsible for maintaining technical documentation

· Work closely with the IT Systems Security Manager to remediate security threats

Position Requirements:

· Adhere closely to established standards and best practices

· Maintain thorough documentation

· Monitor and ensure the reliability, security, and integrity of the network and servers while maximizing uptime

· Identify and resolve server and network problems

· Assume primary responsibility for wired and wireless networks and technical support when required

· Assume primary responsibility for AD, DNS/DHCP, applications, servers, Cisco VoIP Phone systems, enterprise backups, virtualization environment, and NAS systems as needed

· Configure and install server and network hardware

· Upgrade and patch server and network operating systems and software as needed

Education/Certifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Cybersecurity

· Active CompTia Networking +, Security +, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Saint Joseph, MI 49085: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
