Groff's Home Comfort Team is a family owned company of 35+ years located in Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City. We are involved in all mechanical aspects of new home installation, and servicing our communities existing systems. We strive to provide excellent customer service and production in new construction as we continue to grow our company!

We are currently seeking skilled Plumbers with at least 3 years in the Plumbing trade who are excited about growing in their knowledge of the trade, and eager to deliver exceptional production for our customers.

Looking for: Full time lead plumber in the new construction residential or commercial trade.

Qualifications to apply:

• At least 3 years of plumbing experience
• Posses a valid driver's license

• Keeps themselves organized, clean and presentable for customers

Description of job:

• Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
• Assemble pipe sections, pex tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
• Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
• Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
