Sea View Hospital and Rehabilitation Center and Home is a 304-bed long term care facility located in Staten Island's lush Greenbelt. Serving the metropolitan area, it is easily accessible from all points by car and bus. Like many HHC facilities, Sea View has a long history. It opened its doors in 1913 as a sanitarium treating individuals suffering from the most feared disease of the time, tuberculosis. Today, the hospital is well-known for its long-term care brain injury unit, the first in New York State. Patients undergo intensive rehabilitation with the goals of restoring motor and cognitive functions and maximizing quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Patient Care Tech (PCT) - (Annual Salary - $40,812)
HS Diploma or equivalent required/valid NYS CNA certification required. New Grads welcome
Licensed Practical Nurse – (Annual Salary - $51,499)
NYS license as an LPN; New Grads welcome
Registered Nurse – (Annual Salary - $84,744)
NYS RN license; BSN preferred; New Grads welcome
Staff Nurses are eligible to receive additional compensation based on the following:
- Certification differential (rate varies based on specialty) Experience differential (1 year-$987 to 10 years-$8,190)
- Education differential (BSN - $1,800; MSN - $2,000)
- Evening ($4,654) and night ($5,689) shift differential
- Uniform allowance and tuition reimbursement per fiscal year (Full-time employees $3500, and part-time 22.0-37.5 work hours/week $1,750)
- One-time lump sum retention bonus for first 5 years full time per annum hours ($2,000 for the first year; Total of $8,250 after 5 years)
