We are looking for an Office Administrator to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our event decor/production company. Administrator responsibilities, include managing calendars, updating the company CRM databases and preparing proposals among other things. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our businesses by providing personalized and timely support to several areas of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact among designer, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage owner's calendar and set up meetings
  • Detail event design contracts
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system
  • Collaboration of new ideas regarding marketing, outreach and systems to streamline the company process

Skills

  • Must have at least 2+ years "Administrative" support experience
  • "Event" experience is a plus
  • Work experience as an Office administrator, Personal Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • High School degree
  • PA diploma or certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)
