Provide administrative support to clinical faculty in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, who is also the Associate Vice-Chair for Business Development in the Office of Business and Finance. Contribute to efficient operations within the business suite, and assist manager and other office associates when necessary.

Expert knowledge of the principles of office management/procedures as applied to effective organization of office and department operations, as well as ability to plan and organize the workflow in a busy office environment.
Excellent computer skills, including experience with word processing, database and spreadsheet software programs required.
Excellent customer service abilities, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, department administrative staff, interdepartmental contacts and the general public.
Ability to be organized and flexible in response to changing demands, handling a high volume of work under pressure.
Ability to handle sensitive information relating to personnel records, laboratory results, etc. and keep information confidential.
