SLR currently have an opportunity for an experienced Office Manager, to provide strategic business and administrative support to our Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork offices, and to be a key player and assist in the wider business support/admin team covering the UK and Ireland. You will be joining the busy multi-disciplinary office, providing support to a diverse range of Environmental Consultants.
Ideally you will be based in Dublin and undertake travel to the Cork and Kilkenny offices one or twice a fortnight.
What you will do:
Working as part of a wider team of business support/administrative professionals across the company, you will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative duties to support the technical and shared services staff within the office and the wider community and to facilitate the effective and efficient management of the office environment on a day to day basis. Managing and overseeing all office maintenance/facilities and ensuring the office(s) meets all health and safety requirements.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for the day to day management of the Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny office environment, including liaison with the landlord / facilities manager;
- Supporting technical staff through co-ordination of contact with other SLR shared services such as Accounts, HR, H&S and Marketing;
- Supporting your fellow office managers and business support team whenever possible;
- Line management of the administrator(s) in Ireland;
- Assisting senior staff in arranging meetings, travel, accommodation, car hire and other bookings, as required;
- Prepare reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence as well as formatting, scanning, copying, proof reading and issue of reports and other documents;
- Organise and maintain files and databases along with filing and archiving/retrieving project documents;
- Assisting with general project administration and management, including preparing bids, and
- Assisting with other administrative and secretarial duties as required, which include assisting with reception cover, taking phone calls, purchase orders, invoices, car hire and arranging couriers, welcoming visitors, providing refreshments and other duties as required.

What you will need:
- Prior experience with respect to management of an office environment;
- Prior administrative/secretarial/PA support experience (gained within a consultancy environment would be useful but not essential);
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc;
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken), and ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Detail oriented and works with high degree of accuracy;
- Highly organised and flexible;
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; and
- Positive, professional and diligent approach to work.
