The Office & Office Solutions Product Manager of the Xerox Distributor Group (XDG) works closely with Regional Business Development Managers and General Manager and is responsible for achieving revenue & gross profit plan for the Office Products & Office Software across the region. This is a product management position that requires the development and execution of marketing plans, strategies, training within others, that will help our partners to differentiate our offerings to grow both Office Products & Office Software.

Level of Expertise:
This is a Senior Level role where the selected candidate can identify key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision:
  • Development of product strategy, actions and follow up
  • Implementation of actions and programs to enable sales through partners
  • Management of product life cycle
  • Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization and partners

Purpose:
  • Fully own and manage product and Go-to-Market strategies for XDG region across all Office and Office Software
  • Develop a business plan to achieve the office offering sales and gross profit plan of the XDG region
  • Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle: fully managing product launch, positioning, competitive analysis, pricing, forecasting and SOT/EOL (Stop Order Taking / End of Life)
  • Plan, monitor, and control activities throughout region assigned

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve unit, revenue, and gross profit plan for the office & office across the region
  • Co-develop an annual business plan with XDG management, which describes how agreed annual targets will be met
  • Lead and manage product launch process and activities, securing deliverables from value chain partners and other organizations. Ensure ongoing process improvement actions to secure and achieve a benchmark product launch operation
  • Ongoing management of product lifecycle: support sales teams (internal and partner) with pricing actions and knowledge-matter expertise, implement operational system pricing and configuration changes, interact with Integrated Supply Chain teams as required.
  • Plan and communicate key product lifecycle changes (Stop Order Taking/End of Life), work with Learning & Development to develop strategic and ongoing product training strategies, support partners on second level technical escalations as required.
  • Support partners with training, events expertise, second level technical escalation, bid pricing, packaging of targeted solutions
  • Ongoing and proactive involvement in the development of product actions to drive incremental revenue (promos, competitive position strategies and tactical plans specific to geographies), as required
  • Ensure product supply continuity by fully owning product Supply/Demand forecasting process
  • Implement ongoing process improvements to product launch and product lifecycle management processes (leverage IM and project management tools as required).
  • Assure the implementation of strategies within the XDG territory while assuring optimization of business results.
  • Help partners to develop their sales organizations along with Regional Business Development Managers and directly support major deals
  • Analyze sales statistics (market share, competitor’s position, etc.) to determine business growth potential for Xerox in the territory
  • Maintain price lists updated as a regular basis and distribute them accordingly

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Over 10 years of product management experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Professional insight and experience in the channels business across Latin America operating in an indirect working environment
  • Proven knowledge & sales experience in the printing industry, software, workflow solutions
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; upward, lateral and with team. Especially important is the ability to communicate appropriately within a diverse multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conceptualize and think creatively
  • Ability to lead initiatives cross functionally and engage and influence at partners senior management level
Preferred:
  • Ability to work with and communicate to all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is strongly preferred
  • Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
