Job Overview My client, a international leader in the transportation and storage of liquid products are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join their team. Reporting to the UK & Ireland Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the site and for identifying, planning and delivering Operational improvements to the site. You will also be responsible for all site finance and budgetary control. You will be accountable for the safe operation of all Site activities in accordance with the HASAW Act and COMAH regulation, acting as liaison and contact point for HSE,EA and CA planned or unplanned visits. You will have extensive experience within the hazardous industry sector and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of COMAH regulations. You will have experience of working on a COMAH site operations and interaction with the Competent Authority. You will have operational experience combined with strong leadership and management skills. You will be a positive influencer, who is passionate about driving and implementing change you will be self-motivated and hungry for success. What is in it for you? Work with and support other departments to maximise asset availability and minimise downtime without compromising safety, legislative or corporate and/or regional inspection and/or repair requirements. Produce & implement operational process, procedure and working practises in line with corporate; objectives, manuals and goals. Promote & implement a lean & agile organisation & culture in all locations across the region. Requirements: You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with significant experience on a COMAH site and hold a Health & Safety Qualification. Ideally you will hold a degree in an engineering or science.
