Operations Project Manager:
The primary role of the Operations Project Manager is to own the management of operational projects. This position is responsible for maintaining timelines for all print projects, owning the print budget, and ensuring that print items are in stock for Operations at all times. This role will own the print vendor relationship.
The Ops Project Manager will work directly with Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for CAVA collateral to drive consistency across partnerships with CAVA vendors and Marketing.
- Own the printer partnerships, putting standards in place to manage inventory levels and ensure we keep all printing needs for restaurants in stock at an affordable price
- Work directly with the FP&A Team to own and maintain the budgets for print and other large operational projects
- Ensure Print needs are like, Training materials, Menu Boards, in-restaurant signage, new restaurant signage, signage legally required by local/state jurisdictions are available as needed
- Proof and/or copy edit all materials prior to delivery to restaurants
- Qualify attributes of restaurant print needs by design, location, pricing tiers, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain timelines of all print projects for Operations and assist cross functional teams with their print needs
- Gather feedback from Operations on print rollouts with the goal of creating best practices
- Maintain the Print website to ensure the correct products are always available when needed
- Coordinate with conversion/new restaurant teams communicating that restaurant signage has been ordered, shipped, and implemented according to our standards
- Coordinate with the operations team to ship new restaurant community signage and materials
- Manage projects related to CAVA Key Initiatives – maintaining the timeline and communications with stakeholders·
- Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcomes for companywide rollouts, menu testing, trainings, etc.)
- Set and/or adhere to budgetary allocation
- Estimate resource requirement, and Restaurant impact and manage it efficiently.
- Design a work plan for each team member depending upon project requirement and member expertise
- Provide project updates to stakeholders as per demand and requirement
- Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement
- Be aware of industry best practices, techniques, and standards, and encourage tam members to use them for effective project execution.
- Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
- Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks
- Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope and within the allocated budget
- Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution
- Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
- Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
- Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values

- Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals

The Qualifications:
- Proven 3-5 years in managing projects of similar size and type
- Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience (PMP Preferred)
- Experience with digital editing adhering to brand standards using create software such as: Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, editor, In-design) highly desired
- Demonstrates required technical skills as well as the ability to organize, collaborate, and coordinate the planning and execution of all tasks and deliverables for Ops Services KIs
- Experience with copy editing and proofing of document text, designs, and color is highly preferred
- Experience with Monday.com or other project management software
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with quick turnaround times
- Highly organized and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience making data driven decisions
- Professional presence in a corporate environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Is innovative – always finding new and creative ways to improve
- A passion for food, people, and storytelling
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
