Best Western Plus All Suites Santa Cruz is renovating, and we're looking for a new team member to reflect this.

We're looking for someone that can lead the front desk and assist with supervising various departments. Quality of the hotel is the prime focus. We think both guests and employees should enjoy walking through the door.

This is a summary of what we need:

• The role will supervise the front desk, have knowledge of reservations systems so that you can make the correct decisions, train and provide solutions. If you've worked in the hotel industry you should be familiar with reservation systems and be able to learn the Best Western system.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and brand standards. Assist with supervision of housekeeping department.
• Monitor maintenance PM schedule to ensure they are staying on track and performing PMs to brand standard. Assist with supervision of maintenance department.
• Monitor daily employee performance.
• Have open availibility for coverage for call-offs and vacations. Call-offs are rare however emergencies do happen.
• An outgoing personality is a must for this position as you'll be dealing with people throughout the hotel, co-workers and vendors.
• Work closely with the General Manager to make the BestWestern All Suites a great place to stay and to work. However, this does require effort and care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Hotel management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Hospitality: 2 years (Preferred)
