Responsibilities:
The PHP Operations Supervisor oversees daily operations and administrative support provided at a PrairieCare PHP Program. The PHP Operations Supervisor actively partners with the site’s operations and physician leader(s) to provide effective management. The PHP Operations Supervisor articulates and operationalizes PrairieCare’s Vision, Mission and Values on a daily basis and incorporates the organizational values into everyday decision-making. Demonstrates a general knowledge of psychiatric treatment, provides active support for the site and organization’s strategic goals and leads the site in a way that is consistent with the organization’s direction and goals. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that site specific targets related to patient census, revenue generation, patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction are met, and that patient care is of the highest quality. The Operations Supervisor represents the organization in external relationships within the community.

Essential Duties:
  • Demonstrates a general knowledge of psychiatric treatment and PHP programming.
  • Address staff performance concerns timely and effectively
  • Provides active support for the program and organization’s strategic goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring that site specific targets related to patient census, employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and that patient care is of the highest quality.
  • Accountable for ensuring Joint Commission standards are met
  • Partners with discipline leaders to ensure staffing needs are met
  • Collaborates with discipline leads and other program staff to provide quality care
  • Successfully onboards and trains new staff
  • Provide timely and quality performance feedback
  • If the PHP Operations Supervisor is an independently licensed clinician, he/she may be asked to provide backup clinical coverage within the scope of his/her licensure and/or provide clinical supervision within the same scope.
  • Proactively address concerns and suggest improvements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
  • Clinical Licensure is highly preferred
  • One to three years related healthcare leadership experience, preferably in Psychiatric and Addictions treatment.
  • Ability to effectively integrate services across disciplines and levels of care
  • Cultural responsiveness skills strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with program staff, administrators, referents and the public
  • Have computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle escalated situations
  • Ability to make effective decisions while in stressful situations and circumstances
