We're looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.

Skills/Qualifications:

Fluency in typing / proficiency with computers.

Demonstrated ability to multitask &; work in a fast paced environment.

Demonstrated ability of managing tasks involving high level of detail & excellent Written/Verbal Communication Skills.

Professionalism and common courtesy at all times.

Ability to work well in a strong team setting.

Daily responsibilities/Tasks:
Patient history: History of Present Illness (HPI), previous medical history, social history, family history.
Obtain and update patient medication lists. Perform diagnostic imaging such as Optos and OCT.
Administration of Eye Drops, Performs Visual Acuity Testing, Pupillary Exam, Tonometry. Facilitate a smooth clinical workflow by rooming patients/preparing in-office procedures (laser / injections).
Cleaning instruments using standard sterile processes.
Cleaning, stocking inventory, opening/closing exam rooms.
Other administrative tasks as needed.

Previous experience as a ophthalmic tech preferred but not required.

Willing to train the right candidate!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
