Essential duties:
- Patient chart prep and filing;
- Verifying insurance coverage;
- Operating OCT, Retinal Photography, and Visual Field equipment;
- Obtaining patient history and lifestyle information;
- Functioning as a medical scribe to document doctor's exam room findings;
- Opening, disinfecting, and closing exam rooms daily.
Qualifications:
- High volume customer service environment experience;
- Appreciation and respect for top quality patient/customer care;
- Ability to thrive in a growing business while learning best practices;
- Attention to detail;
- Commitment to teamwork;
- Computer and phone proficiency.
In this role, you will have continuous learning opportunities. Support is provided to earn certifications: Certified Para-Optometric (CPO) and Certified Para-Optometric Assistant (CPOA). No certification or previous training is necessary, we will train the right person to pre-test, scribe, help and fit patients in eyewear that will have them looking good and seeing better.

Office Hours:
- 8AM-6PM Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
- 10AM- 4PM Thursday
- 8AM-2PM Saturday
- Closed Tuesday and Sunday

- $300 per month to be used toward health insurance
- $30 bonus pay each Saturday worked
