Position Summary

The Order Management & Customer Support Specialist is an outward-facing position and requires exceptional customer engagement skills for domestic and international sales and operations support, in a B2B (Business-to-Business) environment. This support includes managing customer expectations and balancing the needs of customers with internal processes and company goals. This position requires daily interactions with all departments within the company to provide the customer with solutions that fit their needs. The position is focused on client relationship management and maintenance across various time zones to further strengthen our long-term customer relations.

This person must communicate effectively across platforms and cultures as an individual and team member. The representative must proactively work to identify potential issues to resolve problems before they begin, using critical thinking skills to thoroughly manage the logistics of customer orders; and offer solutions in a timely manner.

Essential Job Duties

  • Oversee success of domestic and international orders from order intake to shipment, including responding to customer inquiries and preparing import/export documentation
  • Determine and respond to inquiries related to order shipping estimates and lead times.
  • Process web orders quickly and send lead-time detail.
  • Participate in production and sales meetings
  • Handle calls and emails from the sales team as quickly as possible to ensure remote sales employees are receiving excellent in-office support

Education/Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years experience providing customer and sales support in a B2B (Business to Business) environment is preferred

Qualifications – Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time.
  • Possess a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word) and comfort with electronic business systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Professional Communication Skills a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.53 - $19.91 per hour
