Outpatient Therapist Job Description

Under the direction of Site Supervisor, the Outpatient Therapist will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment.

Outpatient Therapist Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human service or behavioral science with two (2) year of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment required
• LSW required
• LPC, LPCC, or LISW preferred
• Two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency or mental health treatment or equivalent beneficial
• Workweek schedule: Monday-Friday (1st shift) & an occasional on call evening shift for crisis needs (5 pm-12 am)
