The Trumbull and Porter Hotel in Corktown, Detroit is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to fill the position of Overnight Guest Services Representative. As an Overnight Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests during their stay at our hotel.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service

- Check-in and check-out guests, process payments, and ensure accuracy of guest information

- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the hotel and its guests

- Assist with any guest needs or requests, including providing recommendations for local attractions and restaurants

- Conduct nightly audits and reports for the hotel management team

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree in hospitality or related field preferred

- At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a guest services role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software

- Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
