Elite Staffing is seeking Pallet Builders. For our client in Lake Wales, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for cutting boards and building pallets to varying specifications in a fast-paced, highly physical, hot and demanding production environment.

Pay: $15 weekly pay.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in wood fabrication and carpentry preferred
• Knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Sawzall, Pneumatic Nail Gun, Hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, crowbars, saws, etc.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong work ethic and exceptional attendanceInteract courteously and tactfully with site managers, supervisors, co-workers, customers and/or vendors so that productivity and morale are positively affected
• Constantly remain organized, focused and makes good use of time
• Function and operate comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
• Stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and push/pull continuously during the workday
• Frequently reach above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Endure extreme temperatures, extreme noise and distractions
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by continuously maintaining work area by performing cleaning duties such as sweeping, detail cleaning, etc. as needed
• Perform responsibilities of other positions as requested by Supervisor and/or Site Manager

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
