Sterling Cellars is a large Wine & Liquor store in the Mahopac/Somers area.

We are looking for a long-term part-time cashier to work around 4 days a week, with increased hours during holidays and in-store events. As this is retail, most holidays and weekend hours are mandatory. Previous cashier experience is required.

Wine and liquor knowledge is a plus but not a must; however, you must be willing to learn! Our crew is passionate about the products we sell, and we'd like you to share the same enthusiasm :)

Please be punctual, a team player, outgoing, friendly and have a positive disposition.

For the right person, this job also has some potential growth opportunity within the company: The ultimate candidate is a self-starter and strong multi-tasker who feels comfortable being cross-trained to stock, assist customers on the floor, and is open to learning various aspects of the business.

We'd prefer that someone to join our team for an extended period of time, so if you apply, please don't plan on re-locating within the next year. Local students are welcome to apply - we can work around most school schedules.
