Summary

The Preschool Director at Grandin Court Baptist Church Preschool is enthusiastic about working with children, staff and families and cultivating an inclusive, high-quality learning environment while partnering with church staff, committees, and community partners.

Duties

o Manage teacher/student/parent concerns
o Communicate information timely to staff/preschool families
o Plan/Schedule preschool events
o Manage/Develop Preschool staff & staffing levels (ability to substitute in the classroom as needed)
o Create/Manage Annual Budget
o Maintain/File Religious Exemption & Subsidy documentation in keeping with VDOE guidelines
o Manage annual preschool enrollment process
o Coordinate with Community Partners for VQB5 Program
o Coordinate/Schedule external service providers (i.e. Soccer Shots/Treblemakers)
o Manage relationships with Grandin Court Baptist Church stakeholders (Preschool Committee, Personnel Committee, Church Staff)

Requirements

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
5 years experience in Preschool Center Setting

Nice To Haves

Bachelor?s or Master?s in Early Childhood Education
Classroom Teaching experience
CPR/First Aid Certification
MAT Certification
CLASS Observer Certification
Previous experience in a VA Quality/VQB5 program
Experience in an approved Subsidy Provider program
Special Education training/experience is helpful
