The responsibilities of the Van Auditor are as follows:

The successful candidate will be based in our Ballymount Depot, Dublin.
The responsibilities of the Van Auditor are as follows:
- Strong team member
- Fluency in English is essential both written and verbal
- Previous experience working in a Warehouse
- Can-do attitude in day-to-day tasks
- Good communicator
- Organise the teams to ensure that operational requirements and service levels are achieved.
- Ensure that drivers are fully trained and performing in line with their job specification, compliant with company health and safety policy, including (but not limited to) manual handling and fire evacuating procedures.
- Take responsibility for Depot Health and Safety issues in conjunction with company Health and Safety guidelines
- Completing Van Audits in the mornings
- Minimise parcels entering problem freight area through close inspection of these parcels.
- Manage use of temporary employees and drivers through close monitoring, briefing and motivation to ensure performance criteria is met.
- Plan contingencies in order to minimise business risk and ensure that all requirements are continually met.
- Work with the customer service department on any issues or urgent parcels.
- Provide feedback on any resource concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain effective local working relationships within the framework of the company’s procedure agreements and associated policies.
- Daily reporting requirements and scheduling as necessary.
- Security scanning of selected CF’s daily.
- Follow up on all domestic claims queries and achieve closure on same
- Floor walking to ensure all best practice is being followed.
- Ensure a smooth daily handover of duties and any requests to the next shift
