Diabetes Care Kilkenny
Abbott Diabetes Care is opening a new site, in Kilkenny, that will be at the forefront of Diabetes care with the latest technology, to manufacture FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems.
In this role you would be part of a new Abbott Diabetes Care Finance team in our Greenfield site in Kilkenny
Responsibilities Include:
Processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis for all ADC Kilkenny Employees for both hourly and salaried employees.
Bringing completed review pack to Finance Director for review and approval
Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process, BIK, share awards, pension and other voluntary and statutory deductions
Posting any accruals and prepayments to the general ledger as required
Performing account reconciliations on any payroll related balance sheet accounts
Responding to any payroll related queries in a timely manner
Processing the monthly PAYE Submissions on ROS
Dealing with starters and leavers registrations
Providing ad hoc financial analysis of payroll data
Month end journal processing re spend and other P&L items
Visual Management Board update and standard work maintenance and involvement in other lean initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Third level relevant business qualification and 2+ years' experience in payroll processing.
A high degree of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Experienced in using payroll systems such as Corepay will be an advantage.
High level of Microsoft Excel skills.
IPASS qualified.
